| The purpose of this negotiated request for proposal (the "RFP") is to receive proposals for an audit and control solution, commonly referred to as, an Internal Control System that will be integrated with BCLC's future Lottery Central Gaming System. The purpose of the ICS is to ensure BCLC meets our Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) requirements by using a third party system to ensure the integrity of our lottery draw results. An ICS ensures the integrity of lottery draws by independently verifying that only tickets sold through the Lottery Central Gaming System participate in a draw, only valid tickets are included in winner selection, the right winning numbers are used for winner selection, and confirms the results of the winner selection completed by the Lottery Central Gaming System all prior to enabling validations. |
