Katarina Borstedt to take up the position in September after a stint at air treatment and climate solutions supplier Munters.
Swedish gambling operator Svenska Spel is set to add to its C-suite in September with the addition of a chief people and culture officer.
Katarina Borstedt joins from Munters, a supplier of air treatment and climate solutions, where she is vice president of people and culture.
Joakim Karlsson, who is in an acting role in the post, will return to his previous position of head of talent acquisition and technology.
“I am delighted to be appointed as Chief People & Culture Officer at Svenska Spel, a company with a strong brand, exciting games and a clear purpose to give back to society,” Borstedt said.
“I hope to contribute with my experience of developing organisations, leadership and working methods in growth and change journeys.
“For me, HR is about creating conditions for employees and leaders to develop, with the customer and the business as a clear starting point.
“I am very much looking forward to doing this together with my new colleagues at Svenska Spel, says Katarina Borstedt.”
